I have the great pleasure to invite you to the XIX International Congress of Colorectal Surgery, which will be held in 9-11 October 2025 in Varna, Bulgaria.

Surgery has been evolving at an increasingly dynamic pace over the past few years, thanks to rapidly advancing technology. The massive penetration of artificial intelligence has contributed to an intensive exchange of valuable experience between the different surgical units. This inevitably leads to significant improvements in the field of minimally invasive surgery and it is this topic that will be the focus of this year's congress.

Held in 2024. The National Congress of Surgery has demonstrated the rapid development of minimally invasive robot-assisted surgery in an increasing number of centers across the country. Topics to be discussed include personalized medicine, genetic studies of colorectal cancers inflammatory diseases of the digestive tract – GI Surgery Academy.
